The tour is conducted under supervision and at a leisurely pace. The timetables are guidelines and they can be affected by the prevailing weather conditions. Also make yourself familiar with the diverse evening programme.

Church Boats 2011

Karelia-Rowing Tour will be organized 24./26.7.- 29.7.2011.
Wooden church boats with 14 rowers and a cox, start their journey from Lieksa to Joensuu (appr.147 kms) on tuesday 26.7.2011.
The average speed of the church boats is 9,2 kms per hour

Wooden big boats (4 days = 147 km kms)
Tue 26.7. Lieksa - Vuonislahti 28 kms
Wed 27.7. Vuonislahti – Haapalahti 39 kms
Thu 28.7. Haapalahti – Jakokoski 39 kms
Fri 29.7. Jakokoski – Joensuu 41 kms

Karelia-Rowing Tour will be organized 24./26.7.- 29.7.2011.
Traditional wooden small boats and canoes start their tour from Ilomantsi to Joensuu (appr. 205 kms) on sunday 24.7.

Mon 25.7. Petkeljärvi - Mekrijärvi 38 kms

Wed 27.7. Mekrijärvi – Pamilo 47 kms
Thu 28.7. Pamilo – Jakokoski 33 kms
Fri 29.7. Jakokoski – Joensuu 41 kms
